LeBron James, Please Come Back to Cleveland

LeBron James, you were born to bring a championship to Cleveland. Come home in the summer of 2015.

You’ll be a free agent an unrestricted free agent and the pressure will be on you to stay in Miami.  But hey, you’re use to that … the pressure was on you to stay in Cleveland but your Decision was about championship rings.  You, sir, have delivered.  I’m watching the first round of the 2013-2014 NBA playoffs and seeing all I need to see to say confidently that the Miami Heat will win their 3rd straight championship in 2014.

This Dec 30, 2014, you shall turn 30 years of age.  Your knees might be broken down but you have 3 straight rings to show for it.  After a third straight championship, of course you are going to stay in Miami for the 2014-2015 NBA season and try for a fourth straight championships.  I see some serious issues with this LeBron James, even a little bit in 2014.  I think about it whenever I see Mike Miller hitting 3s for Memphis, and then I think “There’s going to be sometime in the 2014 playoffs when the Heat miss Mike Miller hitting those 3s for them.”  And in 2015, there may be no Ray Allen, I think he is happy retiring a 3 time champion and the greatest 3 point shooter in the history of the NBA.

Mario Chalmers, Shane Battier, Allen, James Jones, Rashard Lewis, Greg Oden, Toney Douglas, Michael Beasley, and Udonis Haslem are all free agents.  That’s 10 players.  There’s 12 on an NBA team.  Who is going to replace these 9 of these positions who combined for significant minutes and significant production … Sure LeBron, Wade, and Bosh are great but there’s 12 on a team and basically the 2015 Heat consist of you Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh.  Mr. Pat Riley better be able to put something together to help make sure you win that fourth straight title or you are for sure 100% not coming back to the Miami Heat in 2015-2016.

You’re going to come home to Ohio and win a championship for Cleveland.  You’d be a hero.  And only the morons are angry with you for leaving Cleveland for Miami, you gave the Cavaliers 7 of your best years and the team was so mismanaged, Cleveland could never give you anyone to help.  As dominant as you are King James, you couldn’t win the NBA title in Cleveland by yourself, although you came real close in 2007.  Cleveland should be building a team to present to you, in 2o15, when you were bested in the finals because you can’t do it all alone and Pat Riley wasn’t able to get the right pieces at the right price.

In 2015, as an unrestricted free agent, the Cleveland Cavaliers, provided they l0ck up Kyrie Irving to a long term deal and seriously Cleveland Basketball team, don’t let him get away, lock him up so he’s on the team you present to LeBron in 2015.

Anyone notice how much better Anthony Bennett played as the season wore along?  Another full season for him in 2014-2015, and he’s the inside force you need to help win championships.  You’ve done it with Chris Bosh, and he can come to Cleveland with you in 2015, but you know in your heart it’s time to part ways with Dwayne Wade, Dion Waiters will be fine in that role, and him and Kyrie are going to put their differences aside in preparation for LeBron’s big homecoming in 2015.

We all like to read about the future.  LeBron James is coming to Cleveland in the summer of 2015.
