2013 Cleveland Browns

As stated in a post on my other website, the Cleveland Browns are going to the playoffs this year.  In Hancock County, there are a lot of Pittsburgh Steelers fans, which is ok because the Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore in 1996, you’re allowed to pick a new team in life if your team relocates, its a Bill Simmons rule.  And hey Sports Guy, you made it, the big time, you’re on national television offering commentary and expertise on NBA basketball, congratulations.  In addition to the Browns leaving, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is from Findlay, Ohio, the capital of Hancock County.

The Steelers are making the playoffs as well, but the real surprise in the NFL this year is going to be the Cleveland Browns because of this guy, Alabama Running Back Trent Richardson.  The offensive line will be serviceable, ranked consistently in the Top 10 by fantasy football experts, Brandon Weeden / Jason Campbell don’t LOSE games single-handedly, and the defense is going to be stingy.  Throw in down years for the Ravens, Bengals, and Steelers and you have your first home playoff game in Cleveland since 1994.
